Dr. Renee Polikowsky

Dr. Renee Polikowsky is a graduate of Northwestern Health Sciences University’s College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, MN. She returned to school to become a chiropractor as a second career after experiencing relief from numerous medications she had been on for years. On advice from family, she went to see a chiropractor and she was amazed by the healing benefits of chiropractic care. The improvements she experienced were not just limited to her chronic headaches and low back pain, either. Within a 6 months of receiving regular chiropractic care, and after some serious consideration, she decided that she wanted to help others as she had been helped and began plans to pursue her Doctorate in Chiropractic medicine.

Dr. Renee is passionate about helping others feel better in order to function better. She enjoys using a variety of techniques including flexion-distraction, Graston Technique (soft tissue mobilization), Activator and instructs patients in exercises that help retrain postural alterations by engaging the nueromusculoskeletal component. She also utilizes electric muscle stimulation and ultrasound as therapies for her patients. She understands that not everyone is the same and enjoys treating each patient as an individual and customizes her care to each patient’s needs. She is also interested in nutrition as she believes that a healthy diet and exercise are basics to everyone’s health. For those patients that are interested, she is happy to recommend nutritional protocols to help you feel better. She has her certification in BLS through the American Heart Association and she plans to obtain her certification in acupuncture in the near future to better serve her patients.

Dr. Renee’s office hours are Monday 10-6, Tuesday 10-6, Wednesday 10-6, Thursday 10-6 and Friday 9-5.
